I designed and illustrated the dust jacket for a hypothetical cover for "Orlando" by Virginia Woolf. The book plays with the idea of gender, so I wanted my illustration to explore the fluid nature of this idea. The front cover is readable on the top and bottom orientation. Each figure represents a facet of Orlando's identity. I was inspired by vintage playing cards and their multiple viewing orientations. I also designed and typeset the spot illustration within the book.
